Making plant labels.
Yesterday I visited Clwydfryn garden in N. Wales, open under the NGS Scheme, a delightful garden with interest and variety at every turn. The owner makes her own garden labels, sticking Dymo tape to regular plant labels.
My question is: does anyone here do this? I am thinking of doing it myself, and would like to know if I have to buy a special waterproof tape, or would any Dymo tape work?

Yes, I've been using old plastic yoghurt and cream pots. They're fine for indoors, but I can't find a pen which is really permanent outdoors. I've bought lots which allegedly are, but they all wear off after a while--which is why I was interested in the Dymo system.

Ordinary Dymo tape is waterproof and sticks well. The letters are a bit big for long plant names though. I did it for a while but quickly got bored, and that was with the electronic version!
