The clematis "Fond memories" which I have had for 3 years is showing brown patches on the leaves..It is growing in a large pot...does anyone know whether this could be a fungus? have attached a couple of photos showing the problem.

Do you water all the clematis in the same way? It doesn't look like fungus to me,if there just a few leaves affected I'd cut them off and put in the normal wheelie bin rather than the recycling bin just in case.
