I have a Hellebore which is growing well and getting bigger by the month. My question is 'can I divide it and if yes when'? I originally had three but two have disappeared over the winter. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I would leave the remaining one for the seeds to drop. I usually cut the old leaves off afterwards. I think you will find that if you don't disturb the soil around it, you will have a host of seedlings appearing in the new year.

I don't get any seedlings - except from foetidus which i don't remember planting in the first place...I hope you have more luck.
