have had a great outlook for my runner beans, the plants where covered in flowers/bees. there has been no frosts during grow period, on the bottom 600mm/2ft of the plants they have only produced a handful of beans. they have beed fed/watered never to wet never to dry. from the mid part of the plants the results are a little better. there are still plenty of flowers and bees on the plants but to me seems still a poor crop. this is the first time i have grown runner beans for 25 years. I remember when i last grew them i was able to fill the freezer. With this crop i will be lucky to supply the dinner table.

give them time,if you are watering well and feeding, they should be fine, every thing this year seemed to have a slow start but is gradually catching up.
by the way welcome to GOY.no doubt you will get some more answers.
