may I ask some members why my potted rhododendron has only one flower not like other years yet looks very healthy

If it is in a pot did you feed it at all last year?

How long has it been in this pot? If it is a number off years since it was last re-potted then it could have used up all the nutrient in the compost and it may be pot-bound.

Our large one has fewer flowers than usual and the baby one didn't have any(both in the ground) - I put it down to adverse weather conditions last year, not being able to think of anything else.

Ours have been blooming away like mad... though several got caught but the very late frosts!
