night scented stock, i sowed the seeds millions of them they have grown big enough i think to separate and plant somewhere scattered in wifeys borders ,is it ok to do this or do they have to stay in situ.they will be ok where they are because i just scattered them in some spare soil ,but we would like some transplanted to border,thanks

and make sure you keep them well watered especially if the weather stays dry and warm.

As far as I know they will be fine if transplanted. Watch out for slugs and snails though as they are very partial to tender bedding plants.
