Here I am again picking brains for answers....in March 2014 our daughters bought us a lovely standard rose...from a very well know rose grower. It was special as it was to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. But to our great disappointment this year not a single rose,lots of healthy foliage,what have I done wrong and how can I put it right? Thanks in advance Cazoo

Is it in a good sunny spot? There are a few roses that don't mind being in the shade but, mostly, they like the sunshine.
Help it along the way with specialist rose fertiliser now and don't forget to mulch in spring.

Yes it is in a sunny spot with shade later on. I will get some rose feed and give it some....see if that helps. As they say watch this space. Thanks for all your comments.

If its healthy it could be because its young, keep it well watered and give it a special rose feed then hope it flowers next year is my advice
