In my experience with roses they can take as much water as you can give them....as long as drainage is good. They are also are heavy feeders. My advice would be to water well once a week and feed every two weeks.

Depends on the weather. Water them when the ground has dried and don't bother when its wet. They need more the first year while their roots are going down. You can't really make hard and fast rules.

Like any new shrub, roses take a few months to establish properly. If the weather remains warm and dry (in the 70s), water thoroughly at least once a week. If a cool spell and dry (in the 60s), at least every 2 weeks. Once roses are established you can ease off the watering frequency.

I would follow the recommendations on the label for each different rose.
