Have just bought a 'kokodama' Monkeys Paw Fern. Been looking for one for ages. Would it be better to plant it in a pot? I have a very old one, which has, sadly, wilted, with root rot. I have transplanted it to try to revive it - it's about 15 years old. Also, should I leave the 'paws' above the surface of the soil?
Many thanks, Gill

Kokedama is just a fancy way of displaying the plant. If you want to put the fern in a pot that is up to you but you will have paid for the 'artistry' (for want of printable word) of Kokedama.
