Its funny you should ask that. No I didn't grow godetia last year, I was very boring and only grew french marigolds in the annual borders.But I have this year and although they look similar its not that. Here is a picture of my godetia that is growing now.

Thankyou Seaburngirl for your comment. I, by the way am earlybirds wife. I am the gardener, he is my apprentice. Right, had a look again today. Not convinced its what you think it could be, but you could be right. Anyway, we are having beautiful weather here in lincolnshire and the flower of the plant is on the verge of opening. So will post a picture when it does.

So. Been putting this off. The flower appeared a while ago, and hands up, feel a fool. It has turned out to be a snap dragon. Really didn't think it was though. You know when you wish you hadn't asked a question and could go back. Right thats me now.

I have posted on the other question. It looks like pale or hoary willowherb. Epilobium roseum for the first but cant remember the name of the hoary one other than its Epilobium p something.
