My Eleagnus Ebbingii hedge is too high about 4 mtrs.(13 ft)
I want to reduce it by about 1.5 mtrs(5 ft).
If I do this there will be no foliage along the top of the hedge.

If this is done in mid July (I live on south coast) how long will it be before the green foliage grows back?

Not tried cutting in July but they are pretty vigorous and I would risk it. It will still be above eye level so you most likely wouldn't notice the bare top anyway?

How do I say thanks?
