For 2 years now my Yarrow has only produced lots of green growth but no flowers to speak of. I have sprayed it with a bug spray but still I cannot see any flowers developing. I bought it 3 years ago and put it in an island bed. It gets sun most of the day. Can you help?

Two reasons that would cause this is too much fertilizer & not enough sun.
Yarrow thrives in full sun and very well-drained soil. They like hot, dry conditions and low soil fertility, but won't tolerate wet soils which promote powdery mildew. It's a little early to expect blooms. As Landgirl mentioned, they are late bloomers.

« Ideas please as to what do do with all this sage. There's only so much I can...
Achilleas don't usually suffer from pests, did you see any before you sprayed? They are quite late to flower, mine are just starting to produce buds now.
