And another one I have spotted at the roadside in Melrose. Tall shrub with cascades of beautiful tiny white flowers (June). Can anybody tell me what it is? Thanks!

Looks a bit like S bridal wreath......thats one that has arching branches of small flowers rather than florets

?Spiraea, possibly bumalda, though there are a fair number of other species about.
A closer view of a flower head and a leaf would help.
