I want to grow misembryanthemums from my own seed. Is each seed head one seed, a few seeds or several seeds? How do you preserve the seeds? How do you know when they are ready to collect?

Answers

Each seed head contains a few seeds. Wait until they start to open and the seeds are dark brown or black, then collect. Air them for a few days, and then put in a sealable container. Store in your refrigerator (clearly labled) until next spring.
