My hanging baskets were doing really well now ( in the last 4 or 5 days)the leaves on some plants are very small and going yellow- Chlorosis I think? Some of the flowers are now not forming properly and dropping off before opening ( this is mainly with the fuchsia) I have been feeding twice a week with flower power for the last three or 4 weeks. Any ideas?

Were you making the Flower Power the correct dilution? If you feed twice a week it shouldn't be very strong at all.

Thank you both for getting back to me. I have been watering every day. Also I have mixed the Flower Power feed as per instructions. The soil in the baskets feels moist to the touch and they have always felt quite heavy. Do you think I have perhaps over watered them -could this cause the pale colour, small size and mottling of the leaves?

It could be,Willow,if they are feeling so heavy..Mine have been the same,as they are the type, you water through a tube ,into the base, which the plants take up water as needed, but with all the heavy rain we have had,it was too much..I have had to pour it out,as it was like a waterfall! I hope yours recover ok..

yes over watering and over feeding can cause the symptoms you describe.
