i have grown an apple tree from seed and it took eighteen years to blossom yes eighteen years
it's now 21 years old and i have been blessed with a very sweet apple with a pink blush
this was an apple from tesco years ago grown a golden delicious pip my patience and luck has paid off
i do not know exactly what variety i've produced but it's as good as pink ladies this has not been grafted i have one cutting growing in my herb tub and it has flowered but not produced this is two years old i haven't let it out to fully grow yet but i am interested in taking branches of this original tree and planting them would anybody know what i need to do to re produce this exciting variety

to get the same apple you will have to have a cutting from the 'parent' plant. the seed will have a mix of genes so it wont come true.
a soft wood cutting would be a suitable method. if you need advice on how to do one of those just ask.
