hi all, i moved my red robin shrub 2 weeks ago and all the leaves have fallen off, has my shrub died or will it settle and produce new growth

Answers
I'd prune back fairly hard to give the shrub chance to re-establish its roots. As a general rule of thumb don't move anything in summer - even if it is a crap summer!

Thank you both for replying, I have watered it everyday ill give it a prune and see what happens. Ill let you know if it works. Thanks again x

Make sure you really water a couple of gallons a day isn't too much Bina

It's the wrong time of year to move it,Bina,so you may have lost it..Have you kept it well watered since you moved it? even with all the wet weather we have had,and are having,it isn't enough for a newly moved tree..I think you may need to keep your fingers crossed,that you see new leaves appearing at some point..sorry..
