Looking for shade loving plants.

Part of the herbaceous border is near to the back of the house in the only part of the garden that's in shade. We have put in some host as and herucara, need some suggestions for some other plants to go in there. That part of the bed is backed by a laurel bush, a Kerria and a varigated ivy, all of which have had a hair cut. The laurel has been reduced by half, a lot is the shoots of the ivy have also been trimmed back.

I would advocate all that Daylily suggests.
Geranium nososum is a splendid do'er in the shade.
Perhaps some Primula florindae.

Among the plants i use for dry shade....

Epimedium species
Polypodium vulgare
Sarcococca humilis
Cornus alba
Fatsia Japonica

I'd add Mahonia aquifolium (not Mahonia japonica or any of the tall ones) and Prunus 'Otto Luyken' to the list.

Brunnera macrophylla (Jack Frost)
Ajuga reptans (Ground cover)
Foxgloves
Polysticum Munitum (American sword Fern) or any Dryopteris fern.
Some of the Cranesbills, like Geranium Biokovo tolerate full shade but most of them prefer partial shade

I forgot to mention Lamiums - all will tolerate dry shade well, taller one Lamium galeobdolen, ground cover Lamium White Nancy or L. Beacon Silver.
