why has my japanes acer gone yellow and dry at the ends
Lack of water, in a windy spot, in full sunlight. All will cause drying but the yellowing of the leaves indicates lack of water to me. You need to really soak the ground round the acer, leave the hose on trickle overnight at the foot of the tree.
