Hi,
I've recently moved into a new house and at the bottom of the garden i found a baytree in a small pot. I've re potted it but its bent and very tall with hardly any leaves on it. Can i saw it in half? Will the leaves grow back if i do?

Yes - trouble is, it's a bit late for hard pruning, so if you chop it down now, make sure you keep it somewhere sheltered and out of the wind, preferably against a wall in a sunny spot for the winter.
