I have some Gladioli in their second year and I want to dig the bulbs up and plant them in a different place, when is the best time to do this please?

I'd move them when the leaves are dying back - ie when you can still see where they are but leaving time for the leaves to feed up the bulbs for next year. And you could try giving them a high potash feed before that happens if there's still time.

« can I cut back the lillies and iris's that have finished flowering
Plant gladiolus bulbs in the spring once danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed. Then Space the corms 3 to 6 inches apart. Water the corms thoroughly
Gladioli like well-drained, light soil and full sun. Also I used to cane mine before I covered up the corms - Just to ensure I did not put the cane through them by accident.
