Will a Chehalis apple ripen early in a warmer summer in Washington State. My apples are falling.(Aug 17th)..and after taste...it seems like they might be almost ripe. OR is it because I did not thin enough and the large clusters are "pushing" some apples off?????? Thank You

Usual ripe/cropping time for these where you are (and generally) is very early September, so its not impossible they're actually ripe two weeks early, particularly if the tree flowered earlier than usual. The following might help you decide
