What is this pest on my spinach?
Please can anyone tell me what this little black creature is on my spinach? The spinach has lots of holes in it.....

That, or Spinach Caterpillars. Treatment is the same for both: some form of Bacillus thuringiensis kurstaki, or spinosad.

It looks like caterpillar damage, and the black things look like caterpillar droppings
