Just wanted to say hi to you all, I have just purchased my first acers 3 in total I have planted them in pots so here's hoping they all do well.

Welcome Trollydolly...from another Acer lover and a former inhabitant of Lanarkshire...Hamilton to be precise, where I was born! I am now a true Sassenach...sssh!...don't tell anyone UP there though! Been in the Midlands over 30 years.
I have kept two of the Acers in large pots and very successfully...although they have suffered a bit this summer!... the ones in the ground less so.
