My red patio rose that I bought earlier this year has established well, and is well and truly rooted nicely in the ground and the foliage looks healthy to me, but it only had one flower on it this year, despite having further buds.
What could be the cause? Could it be as it is new and needs to settle in a bit more? Will it flower better next year.
Any advice is greatly recieved?
Thanks in advance

Have you fed it? They like a feed of something like tomato food, rather than a nitrogen-type food which would just encourage more foliage.
Also it may be a bit dry?
