Off the top of my head, I THINK it's called Mimosa pudica. I may well have had a little brainstorm due to a few rays of sunshine this morning, though!

Yes It's called the TicklMe Plant and it's actually my favorite plant. Watching it move and close its leaves when Tickled is never ending fun. You can buy a really cool Greenhouse grow kit from www.TickleMePlant.com It comes complete with
plenty of TickleMe Plant seeds a min-flower pot and even a soil pellet!
I grew them with my kids and they keep saying it's the best gift they ever got.

I spoke too soon about the rays of sun - they soon vanished behind the clouds and then...yes, it's been raining again! I think it may just have stopped so I'm taking Henry out. Wish me luck! Hope your skies have stayed clear, Blodyn and Irish! Enjoy!

I'm sure I've heard of a "Ticklish" plant, and I've heard it called a "sensitive plant" aswell. I had one many years ago . It's other name was Mimosa. I didn't buy it - someone gave it to my mother and she gave it to me. It had leaves that folded up if you touched it.
