welcome to GOY I joined early on this year and was told it is addictive....It Is !!!
and yes it is a leycesteria,I have one and the birds are supposed to love it. I'm trying to go to bed, but must look at just one more question!!!

Indeed the birds do love the berries. I have seedlings popping up all over the place every year.
