I have just had my drive tarmaced they put edging stones where the flower boarder is but filled it up with big chunks of clay soil how can I get rid of some or break it down

I would remove them to a large box, and mix with horticultural sand, and a good handful of Blood Fish & Bone
granules. Leave to dry out, and give a good stir.
