My Pomegranate plant has once again come to life after shedding its leaves in the winter [,having stored it in the greenhouse ] I am wondering if I dare plant it in the garden and leave in " over the Winter". OR would you just re-pot into a bigger pot . I dont want to lose it as I sucessfully grew from a seed [ after eating a yummie pomegranate ]

John Tradescant the elder grew it in England over 200 years ago and was disappointed that it produced no fruit. ( I looked at Wikipedia ). I have found that it took several years for a tree that I bought to settle in and start producing flowers. Then it set fruit only if I pollenized it myself. So, I am not familiar enough with it to say what to do, but if it starts flowering many years from now, you need to fill-in for the bees.
