I purchased this Daphne Odora last Spring, and put it in a large Pot to have it near the conservatory door for the perfume, although it has grown considerably its leaves are now completely yellow not green variegated as it was. Is this a deficiency or does it turn this color this time of the year. It seems they don't like being moved so perhaps it would be better planted in the garden but would like some advice before doing so. The second photo is as it looked when I bought it.

I gave my son one that I'd grown in a pot for about 5 years. It started to deteriorate soon after he planted it in the garden. I don't know why but I suspect it was moving it. I would always go with Bamboo's suggestions.
The one I've had planted for about 15 years is my absolute favourite shrub; the scent is out of this world.

Thanks to you both, Yes Bamboo I am inclined to agree with you, that is what I thought but it said any soil, so I will give it a feed of Ericaceous fertiliser and perhaps plant it in the garden with a big hole to put the whole pot content in not to disturb the roots perhaps? or just leave it where it is after the feed and see what happens?

That looks rather chlorotic to me. They like a slightly acid soil. Try feeding it with the fertiliser sold for Rhododendrons.
