I have planted Solanum jasminoides poatao vine by a 6ft wall. It has grown rapidly but now I have a concern about the root system will this have an affect on the walls foundation.

This one won't hurt your walls - you must have installed some kind of support for it, as it winds itself around trellis or wires - and needs training and tying in, as well!

This vine has a relatively small and soft root system. I wouldn't worry about it pushing over the wall or heaving pavement, though it will grow better if it has some soil area to grow in.
