Sparmannia Africana - to give away, as it is too large for my conservatory.
It must be kept frost-free in winter, preferable above 5C. It flowers in December/January, and can go outside from spring to autumn. Propagates easily from cuttings. It is 1.8 m tall, 1m wide in a 40 cm square tub- you would need an estate-sized car or trailer to collect from just south of Leicester.
Any takers for this lovely plant?
Oct 12th. No one from Growsonyou wanted this, but it has now gone to a new home in our village.

That's a kindly, thoughtful offer. Keep us informed. Would be lovely to know that it's gone to a new home.

What a kind offer - very nice plant, but unfortunately, I live in London and don't have a conservatory... hope someone takes it up.
