busy lizzies

We really struggled last year with them. When they looked sad we gave them water - and they looked even sadder. Then we found that we could squeeze the water out of the soil!

This year we've concentrated on begonias and the only bizzie lizzies we have are once again looking sad - probably through too much rain.

I'm afraid it's not a good year for busy lizzies - mine are looking sad, too! I think Fourseasons is right - too much rain, not enough sun.

I think it must be the amount of rain we have had. Busy Lizzies in my pots have done quite well (I assume because of the increased drainage pots offer). However, those in the garden are looking very sorry for themselves. Just stems with no leaves.

I agree with begonias. Next doors are superb, and even his geraniums are thriving, which I also find strange due to the lack of anything like a summer here in the North West !
