I have been given a Daphne in a pot and the leaves and flowers are at the end of leggy stems. if I was to pick out the ends of the leggy stems would this help promote growth on the stem Thanks Chris

Plants tend to get leggy when they don't get enough sunlight. They need dappled shade.

Yes you would be more likely to get advice it you can add a photo showing the whole plant ond a nother with closeup of the damage.

Do you know which Daphne it is? They are not all alike.
