Not really, no - if you wanted to do this because its just got too tall, you can cut it down though, and it will regrow. Wait till late April to do it, make a sloping cut to allow rain to run off. Cut off at whatever height you want it to be - cut to the ground, it'll force new growth off the roots at the base. Cut halfway down, and it may still produce growth at the base, but also off the trunk where you've cut.
