My P. fruticosa is about 1metre high and over 1metre spread. About 4-5 years old.
Took plenty of cuttings last year. Have dead-headed last month. Can I safely cut it back now to keep it more compact, I don't want cuttings this year. Dropped masses of leaves during very dry time, but isn't bothered and looks very healthy. Sue

« is there a cheap way to cover a old and cracking garden path without replacing it?
Next question
Most shrubby members of the mint family (that this belongs too) along with Rosemary and Lavender don't really like hard pruning and won't often re-shoot from heavy cut back stems.
Those cuttings you took are gonna come in handy me thinks!
