crown daisy (chrysanthemum coronaria) can i sow it indoors or is it better to sow in a prepared seedbed outside maybe they dont like transplantation? my instructions just say sow directly

Yes, in my experience, it doesn't transplant well. It also likes loose, fast-draining soil. I.e., sand.
