carrot root fly, it is said flies don't fly above 2ft, i grow in concrete rings 4ft high and wash the sand/soil with jeyes fluid in autumn and early spring, but i still get it, i cover with fleece etc question - do flies lay eggs which overwinter, do they lay before seeds are planted as i found them inside my fleece which was circular and secured tightly around the rings, any solutions?? thanks
