My lawn has a fair number of bumps. I intend scarifying it this spring.
Is it good practice to follow this with a light roller?

No, not really. If you have bumps, the recommended method of dealing with those is to cut the turf with a half moon edger, straight down the middle of the bump, then either side at the top and bottom ends of your first cut, to make to 'flaps' of turf which you then peel back, remove some of the soil, then fold the flaps of turf back into position, checking you've got the level right. A light roller on the back of a mower just creates stripes, and is sufficient to resettle turf lifted by frost - heavy rollers have no use in a home garden at all, all they do is compress the lawn, and won't flatten the bumps anyway.
