Since I bought it at about 30cms height this plant has been moved up and down the country and generally badly treated. Despite this, it just grows and grows and now threatens to break out of the window or ceiling. What can I do? David Hull (Brighton)

Leave it behind next time you move? You could donate it to an organisation with higher ceilings in its buildings, eg old folks home, community center etc.

Be nice if you could put the pic on the right way up - not sure I want a heavy duty osteopath bill for cricking my neck trying to see what the plant is! Bit dark too, hard to tell - is it a rubber plant or a Dracaena of some kind?
