I used to purchase a pack of plant Fertiliser and Insecticide spikes for houseplants. They were very effective, but I can't get them anywhere. Does anyone know if they are still available. I can't remember the name unfortumately. Liz71

You might be thinking of Plant Pins - these were cardboard sticks impregnated with insecticide that you used inside a pot, but they've been withdrawn. Westland then made one called Bug Attack quick sticks, but they've been withdrawn too, so it looks like this sort of thing isn't available any more, due to the toxic nature of the insecticide they contained.
