I've inherited a camellia that's in a dreadful pot and is looking very sad it has yellow leaves I'd like to repot with some good ericaceous soil should I also give it an extra boost with some sepuestered tonic as well? Could I bring it back to looking it's best again. Thanks

All sounds good, with TLC they do bounce back , I would keep in the shade and out of the wind until it picks up once you have re potted it. (less stressful)

with Vitax Sequestered tonic use at half strength and then re-apply in two weeks time .... just gives the plant time to sort it self out.

It's also been suffering from dryness from the sound of it so make sure the pot doesn't dry out, especially in the summer when the next spring buds are forming.

the tlc you suggest will be fine. but are you keeping it in the pot or are you hoping to plant it out. Planting in the ground is by far the best option. if you can that is.

How do I say thanks?
