It's Guzmania, one of the bromeliad plants. Link below gives care details (note where and how to water) and although it says distilled water, you can use rainwater if you've got it

I've just noticed there seems to be another plant in pot, to the right of the picture - from this distance, it looks like a very young Dracaena marginata variegata, which needs completely different care from the Guzmania, if that's what it is...
