Money plant has been affected by frost will it die

Answers

Hi, welcome to GoY, the money plant, or Crassula ovata, is a frost tender succulent shrub, and needs a minimum temperature of 41 - 45f, how long was it exposed to the frost, and what damage has been done ?, if it wasn't exposed for very long, you may get away with just losing a few leaves, or it may have been exposed for too long, in which case it will die, try taking a few leaf cuttings, putting them in a cutting compost, and keeping them moist, somewhere that you can keep a temperature of 59 - 64f until rooted, Derek.

I agree with Derek,,Margaret, but if it's only the top growth that seems to have been affected, you could trim it back to some healthy leaves lower down, and it will grow again from those points. One of mine is over 20 years old,and I trim it back occasionally, with no problem..Sorry,but if all the plant was severely frosted, it won't survive...good luck.
