Does anyone know if there is anything you can do to stop rabbits burrowing in flower borders. They are coming back to the same two spots, I keep filling in the deep holes they are making. It's so annoying as plants that are growing are being uprooted in the process. Has anyone else had this problem, thamks

Rabbits can be so destructive, is it possible to keep them out, do you have a fence/hedge where they are getting in, if so then, put some galvanised mesh about three foot up the fence, and then also along the base of the fence, I have done this on many of my clients gardens over the years where rabbits have been a problem and it seems to do he trick.

Last year I planted 40 geraniums, 24 hrs later about 5 remained 'dem pesky wabbits' hubby has bought a gun, about 8pm, I or 9 will be happily munching, have eaten rees, dug plants out by the roots and any new shoots are targeted.I have wrapped each shrub with wire netting looks hideous but at least there are some plants left.
I have an acre and its no joke and very expensive and on that note, good luck

Sorry but trapping them is the only way, unless you have ferrets or a gun. It's possible to get rid of most of the little pests by regularly setting the traps.
