I have two pear trees that have either a fungus disease or an insect problem , not sure which, however all of the fungicides and insectacides that I can find say they are only for ornamental trees. I gather that the best sprays are copper based but these are nor available in UK.
Any advice please

It's important to diagnose quite what the problem is before attempting to treat anything, specially with a food plant, or you're in danger of unnecessary chemicals being used that won't cure the problem anyway. A photograph or two showing the problems would be useful, as Gnarly gnome says...
