I have a Ceanothus shrub which only has leaves on the extreme ends of the woody branches. Can I save this or should I replace it. Over the last 10 years it has not been pruned. Thank you for your help.

If you can't see any signs of life elsewhere on the shrub, then I am sorry to say that I think it's probably time to replace it. 10 years is not bad for a Ceanothus, as they're not particularly long-lived.
You could, as a last resort, prune it hard back, give it a feed and see if any shoots appear, but in this dry weather, it's unlikely to work, I'm afraid. unless you give it a lot of TLC.
