Cherry disease...Does anyone know what's happened ng to my friend's dwarf ornamental cherry tree? And what she could do to save it? Thanks for your help!

I would say that bacterial canker is the problem as the trunk is oozing a cloudy goo. Prunus are the most susceptible to it. I don't think there is any remedy to this problem. The tree can often live with it for some time but I would look to remove it sooner than later.

Thanks Jimmy. I'll pass that on. Canker is so destructive. I have problems with it on my apples too.

How do I say thanks?
