hi all, im trying to find out what this tree/bush is, some say its a weeping mulberry but im not sure, it seems to be some sort of umbrella tree/bush, its my neighbors and i have volunteered to help out in his garden as he has a good few summers under his belt and just needs a bit of help, i would like to know so i can care for it, as it has been neglected, any help or directions to help would be really appreciated.

thanks moon growe, i did them in a bit of a rush, i googled Kilmarnock willow and it looks like you could be right, when you get close to it it looks a mess, all twisted and matted together, there seems to be a ton of dead twigs underneath it, suffice to say its seen better days, i will take some better pics tomorrow and really nail the thing but i think your right,
ps you wouldn't like to pop round and prune it around about September time would you, lol

Agree with Moon Grower's ID, but best not to prune in September - these usually produce yellow catkins on bare wood in spring, so the time to tidy it up is as the flowers fade and the leaves start appearing. You'll be able to see and access dead wood more easily before all the leaves come out anyway, so it should wait till next spring.

Bamboo is, as always, correct. Wait until next spring to prune.
