My crocus have lots of seed heads . They were first planted last year. Should I let them self seed or collect them and sow in seed trays ? Plus how long does it take from seed to flowering crocus? Thank you.

Specious or varietal crocus Barbara, species will come true to the original, varietal will give interesting results. Either way, let some some self-seed but collect others and sow in pots rather than shallower pans. You can expect flowers in three to four years time. Good luck.
